Ingredients:
2 medium honeycrisp apples, cut into bite size pieces
1 extra-large sweet potato (or 2 smaller ones), cut into bite size pieces
8 small Bilinski’s Apple Breakfast sausage links, cut into bite size pieces
2 tbsp ghee, (1 tbsp needs to be melted)
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp dried rosemary
½ tsp dried sage
1 tsp dried thyme
1/8-1/4 tsp flake salt
Instructions:
Start by making sure all your ingredients are chopped and ready to cook
Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees
Coat the sweet potatoes in 1 tbsp of the melted ghee, ½ tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp maple syrup, and the pink salt. Cook in the air fryer for 15 minutes, flipping ½ way through. Alternatively, bake in an oven for 25-30 minutes flipping every 10-15 minutes.
While the sweet potatoes are roasting, heat the other tbsp of ghee over medium high heat in a sauté pan. Add the chopped apple, remaining cinnamon, and maple syrup. Flip every few minutes and cook until the apples are nice and soft with slight browning (be careful not to let them burn!)
Add in the chicken sausage to heat up
Once the sweet potatoes are finished, add them into the sauté pan and add the remaining seasonings
Enjoy with a fried egg on top or on the side!
