February 14th Q&A Coaching

  1. I’m 99% sure I have SIBO (I can’t remember a time in my life where I haven’t suffered from bloating and other stomach issues). I also have the trademark symptoms of endometriosis. I was wondering if there is a correlation between the two diseases?

  2. I gag often while I eat. Especially in the mornings but it happens frequently. Some days are worse than others and it especially happens with eating eggs. If something is just slightly not my favourite food I usually gag on my last few bites and spit it out. I’m not pregnant currently but I don’t remember being this way before I had kids. Any tips? Ideas? I know its probably in my head.

  3. My partner has just started taking the anti-fungal medication Terbinafine (I am in the UK, not sure if goes under the same name in the US), after years of very stubborn and uncomfortable Athletes foot. I am concerned of side effects, as even doctors are reluctant to prescribe it (but also fully support my partners choice to get this treated). Is there anything he can do to help support his body whilst taking this conventional route, other than nourishing his body in the best way possible? I believe it adds a lot of burden to the liver as he is having blood tests to monitor his liver health during treatment. I appreciate nothing can negate the effects of a strong medication, but would be so grateful for any ideas you might have that can in any way help!

  4. Lots of people in the health and wellness field and even functional doctors like to point out dairy's high insulin index and say that it can eventually contribute to insulin resistance. What are your thoughts on this?

  5. Any tips to help not clench or grind teeth? I notice not only do I wake up with a tight and sore jaw in the morning but I also clench during the day especially at work. If it’s connected to stress how do i stop this habit?

  6. Can pregnancy cause gut issues that weren't there previously? I know a lot of gut symptoms show up in pregnancy due to hormones etc. but can it cause new or lasting issues that need addressing afterward or do you see it as just exacerbating already present issues?

  7. Hi Kourtney! Can you talk more about seasonal allergies and histamine intolerance

  8. Would you recommend Raw cashew butter over Roasted butter?

  9. I've had issues with certain foods making me sick so I've been trying to avoid those foods but sometimes it's just anything I eat. I've brought this up to my doctor and I have had an ultrasound of my Gallbladder (I believe my pancreas was looked at as well on the scan) and a HIDA scan and both have come back clean. Now my doctor doesn't have any solutions other than to avoid the food that make me sick. Any advice on tests I should take or what this could be?
