By now, you've probably heard a ton about supplementation. In fact, there is an overabundance of information out there.
Maybe you've heard that it's good, maybe you've heard that it's bad.
Some people take a lot, some take a few things, and some people are too hesitant to take any. Regardless of where you are, I want you to be aware of the benefits that supplementation can bring.
Why do I suggest supplementing?
I suggest supplementing because, through supplements, we can get a greater concentration of the nutrients or compounds that we need.
There are some things, like magnesium, that must be supplemented with if a person is deficient. Although obtaining nutrients through food is ideal, it's simply not always possible.
When it is possible to get nutrients from food, we should. That's the ideal choice. However, when it's not, supplementation steps in and changes things for the better.
Supplementation can also be viewed as "natural medicine" since the compounds in certain supplements can have a pharmacological impact on the body. This can be a great thing, but it's also another reason why professional guidance can benefit you in supplementation.
