Vagus Nerve Exercise: Relax, Unwind, and Support the Nervous System

The vagus nerve is the 10th cranial nerve associated with sneezing, swallowing, breathing, digestion, heart rate regulation, sweating, speaking, etc. The vagus nerve is especially important in regards to anxiety reduction and parasympathetic nervous system regulation. The parasympathetic nervous system is the "rest and digest" part of the nervous system, and through activation and stimulation, overall health can be improved.
