Southwestern Cassava Tacos
If you like Mexican food, you will love these healthy southwest tacos. Made with grass-fed beef and cassava tortillas, these tacos will satisfy your cravings while nourishing your body.
What You Need:
1 lb. grass Fed Beef
One pack of Siete brand cassava tortillas
One packet of Siete brand taco seasoning (mild or hot)
One organic onion
Cayenne pepper (optional)
Avocado oil (Chosen Foods) or beef tallow
Organic sour cream (optional)
How to Make Them:
In a pan on medium heat, sauté chopped onions in avocado oil or tallow
Once the onions have cooked for about 3 minutes, add in your ground beef and cook until done
Add Siete brand taco seasoning according to instructions
In oven, heat tortillas at 350 until desired crispiness
Spoon cooked beef into warmed tortillas, add (optional) sour cream, cheese, cilantro, jalapeño, and enjoy!
Brand swaps: if you can't find Siete products, look for other similar alternatives at your local health food store. Organic wheat tortillas also work as a swap if you eat gluten, and organic brown rice tortillas will if you are gluten-free.
