Protein Hot Chocolate

I don't know about you, but as it gets closer to the fall, I'm craving more comfort foods and cooler weather favorites. Recently, I've been making protein hot chocolate as a bedtime snack, and it's helped me have even better sleep recently. I typically make this an hour before bed, and I sip it while reading and winding down for the evening.

Ingredients:

- 2 squares bittersweet organic chocolate (I like Theo chocolate)

- 4 oz. bone broth (unflavored, no onion and garlic)

- 4 oz. organic milk

- 2 oz. half and half

- 20 grams collagen

- 4 SmashMallows (I get these at Target, but they can be found online as well)

Instructions:

In a stove top pot, add bone broth, cream and milk

Allow to nearly boil, then add chocolate and collagen, and stir

Add marshmallows, allow to melt, stir, and pour into a mug

(The hot chocolate will be very hot, but you can place the mug inside of your fridge for a few minutes to allow it to cool off before drinking. Enjoy!)
