1. I have a question about my daughter. Her vitamin D level is at 26 & doctor said it is a little low. I know taking Vitamin D is not the best, so how can I raise her vitamin D levels? She plays in the sun everyday during lunch for school, so she is getting exposure.

2. I am being called by the Lord to fast and pray. I did the other day for 7-8hrs and then broke my fast for dinner. That is the first time I have fasted in a really long time. I have PCOS I know eating frequently is important for my health and blood sugar regulation. I want to obey God but also care for myself, do you have any advice or tips?

3. Do you have to take antibiotics for gout? My doctor thinks I have it in my thumb nail bed. But I don’t think so. It Has been there about three days. No bites or anything. I am on antibiotics for Lymes disease. There is swelling, hurts to touch, a bit of throbbing and is warm. Just tender really. But no joint pain? No other symptoms. Do you know what it could be? If you do think gout, do I really have to take antibiotics?

5. You mentioned concerns with having an iron transfusion. Can you elaborate on that a little bit more? Previous Question Answered: Took your advice regarding following up with GYN regarding heavy periods. As it has caused me to become anemic. Getting iron transfusion in a week. But found out I have fibroids that need to be addressed. Looking at two possibilities myomectomy and uterine fibroid embolization. Any thoughts on the two. I also see fibroids can return…. Are there things I can do to reduce getting additional fibroids?

6. Do you know of or can find for me a white cheddar popcorn seasoning with the best ingredients? I love it and so many of the bagged popcorns use canola or another PUFA high oil and I want to make it at home with butter but not sure which “bad” ingredients I should avoid in it. Thanks

7. Hey Kourtney, what are your thoughts on whole food Vit. D supplements for winter time? I’ve looked at the Real Mushrooms brand product, which contains D from concentrated mushrooms. Or Ancient Nutrition’s D, which also comes from food: Beef Bone Broth, Organic Astragalus Root Extract, Bovine Liver, Chicken Bone Broth, Organic Polygala Root Extract, Organic Schisandra Berry Extract, Organic Reishi Mushroom Extract, Hericium erinaceus (Lion's Mane) Mushroom Extract, Wild Hake Roe. Other Ingredients: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, gelatin.

9. Are there supplements or foods that can help a person sweat less? Deodorants haven't been much help...

11.What causes a period to come and go with only very light spotting? My periods are rare and irregular but when they come they can be so light that I wonder if it’s even a period.
