November 8th Q&A Coaching

1. I currently eat a sweet potato, egg, blueberries, and chicken sausages for breakfast I know I need to add a leafy green to balance out the meal but dont like spinach or arugula... any suggestions?

2. Hi Kourtney! I find that when I have trialed supplementing with Vit. E during my luteal phase, my periods are painless and I don’t run into any cramping whatsoever, but I also don’t want to have to rely on E supplementation to help with this. I’ve tried upping my “E” rich foods before and already focused on all the “right foods” and avoiding inflammatory oils, tons of nut and seed butters, etc. I recently stumbled across Vital Proteins Beauty Boost product, which is made up of only the following whole food ingredients: Organic Food Blend: Organic Sesbania Grandiflora (leaf), Organic Guava Psidium Guajava (fruit), Organic Amla Berry (fruit), Organic Holy Basil Ocimum Sanctum (leaf), Organic Lemon (peel), Organic Annatto (leaf), Organic Bamboo (shoot), Organic Mustard (seed), Pullulan (Plant Capsule)It contains 133% of the daily “E” requirements & also high in C, Folate and Biotin. What do you about adding a whole food source of E like this into a daily supplementation routine vs. using a Vit. E capsule made from something like sunflower?

3. Hi Kourtney! I read you article about vitamin d and understand that vitamin d supplementation is a really tricky topic and is usually a last case resort. I always struggle with seasonal depression and know I don't get enough sunlight this time of year. I've bought a happy light to help with circadian rhythm and that helps some but I was wondering what your thoughts are on supplementing with cod liver oil and if you have any brands you like? thanks!

4. Hi! Asking this question for a friend- If you are not pregnant, but experiencing milk discharge from nipples? Does this mean high prolactin levels?/Hormone imbalance?

5. I know you've talked about causes of SIBO and factors to address. What foods help keep SIBO at bay?

6. Having a hard time digesting fats. what are some ways I can improve this? Thanks!

7. Can you talk about taking a zeolite substance? I’ve been learning about how amazing it can be to detox the body of heavy metals. I was vaccine damaged about ten years ago and I would love to detox from the heavy metals. I lost a grandma ro Alzheimer’s too and want to protect myself. Would you recommend zeolite or not, any specific brands. If not zeolite how do you recommend detoxing from heavy metals.

8. What do you think about putting together a gift guide? I would love to know what you recommend for holiday gifts to either give or receive! There are things I think I want (water filtering system, coffee subscription, etc) but I also see more expensive gifts like EMF blockers advertised by people in this community. Maybe your recommendations could be broken up by price range? I'm sorry if this request is being asked in the wrong place; I just appreciate your insight!

9. I have started taking magnesium Malate for my pcos and hypo thyroid for supplements. What else would you suggest I start taking to help aid in my thyroid function and pcos?

10. I’ve been working on eating more Whole Foods, but I’ve found that I’ll start to get nauseous maybe halfway in? It happens more with breakfast. I’m not pregnant, do you have any ideas why or what might help?
